Book bags
Please ensure children’s book bag are in daily so we can listen to your child read with their RWI / accelerated reader book. Please sign the children’s reading record when you have listened to your child read so they can be entered into our reading race competition.
Read, Write, Inc
Children will receive a RWI book home, both a core book and a book bag book. We will then exchange when returned.
Accelerated book
Once children have finished the RWI programme, they will move on to accelerated reader. They will complete a star assessment which will inform us on the range they need to choose from. Once children feel confident with the book they will complete a quiz and then children will choose a different book from our range.
PE
Our PE days are Monday (outdoor) and Wednesday(indoor). Children can leave their PE bags on their pegs and we will send them home each half-term.

A weekly contribution of £1 helps us ensure we have a variety of food for snack and contribute to school trips.
