PE
Wednesday – outdoor
Friday – indoor
Please ensure your child has the correct PE kit – plain black or green shorts and a plain white t shirt as well as suitable footwear and joggers and a jacket for outdoor PE.
It is always useful to bring on Monday and leave in school until Friday (names on pe kit would be helpful to stop mix-ups of clothing). Ensure earrings are removed on the mornings of PE days. If they cannot be removed they can be taped.
As physical education is a statutory requirement children will not be excused from PE if they do not have a kit, they will be given a spare kit to wear for the lesson.
Reading
Children read within school but we would also like children to read for pleasure at home as well. If children read 3 times per week they will be entered into the reading race and have the chance to win a prize. We have made a fantastic start with this and love our children’s enthusiasm!

Water-bottles
Please can all children have a water bottle in school. They don’t have to be anything fancy just a plain plastic bottle.
Homework
Children will be sent home with homework on a Thursday – spellings and maths or English. We will then mark and go through the answers and spelling practice the week after.
