Welcome to Diligent Dinosaur's page.
If you are a parent or carer you can join our private Facebook group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/876666879638300/
We use Microsoft Teams and weekly spellings are saved in files on there as well as paper copies sent home. Should children be at home due to isolation and they are well, we will call you so that you can take part in the lesson virtually.
If you have any questions please do contact school or email Mrs Wright at r.wright@greenfieldprimaryschool.co.uk or Mrs Armitage at k.armitage@greenfieldprimaryschool.co.uk
Our Class Books for the Year
Each morning until 9:15am the children will listen to our class book to promote a love of reading. The selection can be seen below. It offers a variety of themes and text types and in some instances links to our afternoon themes. We have written a letters to David Almond (we haven't had a reply yet), Lindsay Galvin (who was quick to reply), Louis Sacher (we contacted him via an online form and are awaiting a reply) and Sophie Anderson.

Our current class book is Then by Morris Gleitzman
In Then - Morris Gleitzman's heartbreaking children's novel set during the Nazi occupation of Poland during the Second World War - Jewish orphan Felix and his best friend Zelda have been captured and are on the way to a concentration camp, unless they manage to escape . . .
A little hope goes a long way.
