Making Gruffalo Crumble

We collected blackberries and apples from the forest during our Forest Thursday session.

We used them to make Gruffalo crumble! It was delicious, look at our photos to see how we prepared the ingredients and put them together to make the crumble. 

Very carefully we peeled the apples.

"It's hard work cos the apple is so juicy and keeps slipping"

Just look at the concentration on our faces!

Next we needed to cut up the apples into small pieces

"I love apples when they are crunchy"

"if you hold the cup still I will pour it in"

"it needs to be half a cup of sugar"

We assembled all the ingredients together ready for the oven.

At last it was time to taste!!
