Elsecar Heritage Centre Trip

On the 9th October, we walked down the hill to the Elsecar Heritage Centre.  While we were there we walked along the canal, looked at the old railway line, saw some of the steam engines and the Newcomen Beam Engine.  We then went inside the museum (after a snack stop) and watched some interesting videos.  Lyndon, from the museum, told us lots of facts and answered all of our questions! We had a great time.  We are lucky to live near such an interesting and historic site
