Week 2: Making a bulb light using Copper tape!

This week the children explored how to use copper tape to make a bulb light up.

We talked about the copper tape being conductive and when something is conductive, electricity flows through it.

The children found it amazing! It was tricky, but we were determined to get the bulb to light up!

We really appreciated the help from our older friends from the Mysterious Meerkat class.

We cut it, measured it, pressed it and pushed it down.

"It's got circle wheels and square windows" said Khloe about her train.

We were so proud when the bulb lit up!

"Look at it, shall I turn the lights of so I can see it better", said Tommy.

"Evil Pea is bright" said Ava.

"I love my love heart" said Emily.
