First Aid

On the 14th of February, Year 6 had a visit from the British Red Cross to learn some first aid skills.

The children had the opportunity to role play different scenarios where first aid might be required. We had lots of discussion of what to do if the person needing help was a stranger and when we should call 999.

We looked at many different scenarios:

• What to do if someone was bleeding. 
• What to do if someone had a seizure.
• What to do if someone was unconscious.
• What to do if someone had burnt themselves   Below are some photos from the afternoon
