Trash or Treasure Robots!

Over the Christmas holidays, the children saved lots of trash materials that were perfect to make our treasure robots. We couldn't believe how much was brought in! This made it very easy for us to create our robots as we had different variety of materials to choose from in order to make the different body parts and accessories. After creating our robots, we sketched a picture of them in our sketch books and labelled the materials that we used. All the left overs were recycled to Busy Bears and Lovely Lions for their junk modelling areas.

We realised that some of our robot sketches weren't right so we edited them to make our final designs. We had support sticking them together from Mrs Bond and Mr Taylor as we needed to use the hot glue gun.

What do you think of our final designs?

Can you see what we might have needed to change?

Some of our robots have found themselves stuck to the wall; others seem to have got a way lightly! The children absolutely love their robots and have already been debating who is taking them home. (Don't worry we can encourage recycling them!)

What do you think of them?

There are a few more robots that need adding.
