The Frozen Forest!

We had lots of fun exploring our outdoor environments. For some of us it was our first visit to the forest.

It was extremely cold so we were very well wrapped up. Can you remember what we need to wear to keep warm in winter?

We walked past the pond, how had the water changed?

"It's all iced"

"It looks shiny".

Why was the water frozen?

"Because it's freezing cold!"

"Jack Frost has been in the night"

"It's all ice"

We learnt about the signs of winter and went on a hunt for frost, ice and icicles.

Did we find any of them?

We even found a potato in the forest!!
