Stay and Play - Easter Egg Hunt

We had a great session in the forest with our families. On our way to the forest we found signs of spring and did our running and stretches; making a pencil, star and a mushroom shape. We looked at the tadpoles and wildlife in the pond.

In the forest we went on an Easter Egg Hunt.

We had to count how many eggs we had collected, and measure the largest egg.  We wrote our names and numbers on the list, hoping to win a big prize.

We had a camp fire and warm carrot and coriander soup, with bread sticks, for snack. We all had a taste.

We watched the fire and listened to the popping and crackling sounds.

We enjoyed playing in the mud kitchen and on our forest bus.

We went up and down the mud slide, taking turns with the rope. The mud slide was dry and dusty today.

We climbed trees and used our swings, and large tubes too.

Learning together was so much fun!
