We have had a brilliant time posting our Christmas cards and our class letter to Santa!

We talked about why we need to put stamps on letters and parcels. We put a stamp on our own cards. We didn't need to lick the stamp. "It's sticky" said Mason!

We wrote a class letter to Santa. We thought about what we wanted to say. We used our Fred Fingers to help us spell. We added some fairy dust into the envelope. Let's hope he replies to us!

We put our high visibility jackets on to make sure the vehicles could see us. Mr Watson and Miss Jones were ready to stop the traffic for us! We held our partners hand and we always walked on the pavement!

Along the way we spotted lots of letters, words, numbers and patterns. "That's 30" said Ophelia. "We have 30 children in the Busy Bears class. We write, around the tree, around the tree, that's the way we make a 3. Then we say around and round and round we go, when we get home we have a zero!" We sang this song all the way to Tesco!

We saw lots of shapes and patterns as we walked along the way. "That's a rectangle" said Amelia, "2 long sides there and 2 short sides there"!

We posted our cards in the post box. Look out for them. Some of us needed a helping hand from Mrs Sharman!

Finally we posted our special letter.

On the way home we saw a postman. He was really friendly. He even let us post some letters through a letter box. How lucky were we!
