Welly Wednesday 29.09.21

We were brilliant on our first Welly Wednesday. We walked with our partners to the forest. We listened carefully and tried our best to stay in line. 

We loved climbing and sliding down the mud slide. 

We used the rope to pull ourselves up, walking and crawling. It was slippery. 

"I did it!" said Hope

"Look Mrs Shaw, I can do it!" says Harriet

We were very busy in the mud kitchen using all the items we had foraged. 

We were testing out our strength and balance with the tubes, cargo nets, tyres and trees. 

Look at our team work, moving the tubes.

We loved swinging and spinning on the tyres too. 

When we hear the whistle we join the line to wash our hands ready for snack.

We have our snack in the fire pit area. We are learning how to step over the bench to sit down so we are safe. 

We enjoyed using the vehicle to travel anywhere we wanted to.

We shared the driving on some of our long journeys. 

We used our chalks and chalkboard tree cookies, to draw and make marks. 

We picked and ate apples, blackberries and raspberries! They were delicious! 

And after being so busy in the forest we still had enough energy to use the trim trail too!
