CHARMING CHEETAHS EXPLORE THE FOREST FOR Microhabitats! 01.11.22
In Science we are learning about habitats.
We know that most of the living things we observe live in those microhabitats because they are
suited to them.
After exploring lots of different microhabitats in the forest we found out that different habitats provide for the basic needs of different kinds of mini-beasts.
We found out what a woodlouse, spider, slug, snail and worm needs to live.
We explored their homes carefully and observed what they were like.
Most of their homes were wet, dark, sheltered and warm.
As we explored the microhabitats we were very careful as we didn't want to injure the mini-beasts.
Some of the Charming Cheetah children bravely picked some of the mini-beasts up.
We made sure we put them back in their 'front door' after we had looked at them.
