Charming Cheetahs Create Castles: Forest Fun! 14.09.22

Our first forest session was fantastic. We got changed super quickly and we all remembered the forest rules fantastically!

We were so impressed with the new firepit.

Our topic this half term in History is to learn about Castles.

We talked about what castles were used for and how castles were designed. We looked at lots of different castles from around the world. Windsor Castle was our favourite!

We split up into groups. We decided on how we were going to make the castle, the best material to use and the type of tarp we needed for the roof. We realised the tree trunks were a useful structure to start making the castles.

Super planning everyone!

Team work was crucial as the planks of wood were quite heavy. We needed to be careful as we moved them.

Once the castles were made we added our own finishing touches. We used leaves, berries and pine cones to individualise the castles.

Well done everyone.
