Fun in the Frozen Frosty Forest

 

Our first week in the forest was fun and frosty. We discovered the ground was so hard and bumpy. Our first job was to find four, frozen, frosty sticks. 

We checked we had four, by placing them in a line and counting. We pointed with hands, and used our feet to touch each stick. 

We were then free to explore. We were so excited!

We've not been to the forest for a long time, and for some it was our first Welly Wednesday! 

We found ice in lots of different places.  Although the mud was hard, the mud slide was very slippery. 

 

We enjoyed climbing.

We had to move the tyres under the branches so we could step up and reach. They were heavy! 

 

We love swinging.

We're learning to use our legs to move the swing, and to take turns with our friends. 

 

We enjoyed writing and using the mud kitchen. 

 

We played hide and seek too!
