The Gingerbread Man

This term we have been reading one of our core books; The Gingerbread Man. We've been joining in the with repetition

'Run, Run, as fast as you can, You can't catch me I'm a Gingerbread Man'.

We've been singing the 'Five Gingerbread Men' song. You can join in here... 

We've been baking our own Gingerbread Men too! 

We had to read the recipe and instructions. 

We weighed our ingredients, flour, sugar and ginger, and mixed them all in a bowl. 

We added the butter and used our hands to rub it in, until it formed a dough.  

We squashed our dough flat and pressed down hard on the gingerbread man cutter. 

We added features before they went into the oven to bake.
