Medieval Banquet

This half term we have been learning about Knights and Castles so we decided to have a Medieval Afternoon. 

First of all we painted pillowcases to look like knights. 

The last few week we have been using clay to make castles. We tried to add features too, if you look closely you can see the arrow slits and portcullis. 

We then made crowns to become Queens and Kings. We cut out shapes to cut on our crowns. 

We even made tinfoil goblets...they were quite tricky!

We listened to Medieval music....some children wanted to dance while others played musical instruments. 

We enjoyed our Medieval Banquet too while listening to Medieval music. 

We really enjoyed our afternoon! Thank you for our snack money, this went really far with our Medieval afternoon!
