Fire in the forest

Mrs Shaw came down to the forest today so we could have a fire. The children were very excited, they sat and watched her set up. 

She told them we were having popcorn for our snack. We looked at the popcorn kernels. 

The children enjoyed watching and listening for the kernels to pop. 

We have been learning a poem called Popcorn from poetry basket. Listen to us sing it. 

Some of us wanted to make music while the others sang the poem. 

We really enjoyed our popcorn. It was yummy!
