Barnsley Brass Teachers

We had a fantastic morning when the brass music teachers from Barnsley visited our school.  They taught us lots of facts about the instruments they brought with them.  Did you know that a set of drums is called a drum kit and drums weren't always together? In the past you needed lots of people to play all the different drums but now they are together just one person can play them all.  The musicians played us many different pieces of music and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

At our school Y4 children currently learn the recorder.  If you are interested in learning to play another instrument please contact the school office who can pass on further details.
