Handwriting through school: June 2011

In June we had a handwriting teacher called Mr Harvey who came to work with children from FS2 through to KS2.  He taught us how to join our letters together and make our writing neater!

• We thought about good habits for handwriting... how many hands do we use for writing? 
• We thought about feet... how many feet do we need on the floor altogether?  
• We thought about how we are sitting...  BBC position! 
• We learnt how to hold the pencil properly... can you remember where your thumb needs to go?
