World Maths Day - Greenfield Primary School raised over £400!!!

On Wednesday 7^th March 2012 all our children, including Foundation Stage, took part in a fun Maths quiz.  The idea was to have fun while raising money for UNICEF. This is a children’s charity and the amazing amount we raised will help to support schools in places such as Africa to buy pens, pencils, paper etc. Everyone who raised money was given a thank you letter and those who raised a significant amount were awarded a Maths prize. Teachers also gave a special mention to children who always try really hard in Maths and are making good progress; they also got a special prize to say well done and keep it up!  Please have a look at our photos…
