Badger Visit

Yellow Yachts and Blue Balloons were really excited to receive a visit from Wendy and her badger. We have been learning about nocturnal animals and of course a badger is nocturnal just like hedgehog which visited us last week.

We took turns to hold the badger. It was very soft.

We learned a lot of things about badgers, did you know they like earthworms small rodents slugs, fruit and nuts to eat?

We stroked gently.

Yellow Yachts and Blue Balloons really enjoyed seeing the badger and listening to Wendy as she told us all about him.

We learned that badgers are having to adapt to urban life due to the pressure on our countryside. They may come into our gardens and dig pits whilst searching for food so watch out for them!
