Minibeast Hunt

This week in the forest we were looking for minibeasts, using the list on our clipboards we found them and ticked them off.

We knew to look carefully under rocks and logs. There were loads of woodlice. Which ones can you see below?

The forest area had grown so much since last week, we found dandelions and lilacs.

In the afternoon it rained and rained, the mud slide was so much fun!

We showed great determination and perseverance, it was so slippery when trying to get back to the top.

Look at our team work, and how we helped our friends!

"Would you like a hand? Come on, you can do it!' She says encouragingly.

We got very muddy!

We took turns on the swings.

We're learning how to use our legs to build momentum.

Straightening our legs out as far as they can reach when swinging forward, and swiftly tucking our legs under when swinging back.

"I'm nearly touching the nettles" Avianna says.
