Welcome to the Cheerful Cheetahs!
We will use this page to share some of the amazing things we do in Year 2.
Please listen to your child read regularly and preferably every day. It has a huge impact on all areas of learning! Watch out for our class competition each half term on our private Facebook group page (Cheerful Cheetahs @ Greenfield).
We have PE on Monday and Thursday so please bring PE kit suited to indoors and outside on Monday. We'll send it home again on Friday.
Homework is given out on Wednesday and is due back in on the following Monday. We alternate maths one week and reading journals the next.
We are learning to play recorders and all need our own recorders in school on Fridays. These are available from the school office for £3.50. Please note that we are unable to lend recorders to children for obvious hygiene reasons. They MUST have their own.
