From the end of Y1, the table shows that in Y2 FSM pupils made less progress in reading (-0.6) and more in writing (+0.3) and maths (+0.1) than their non-FSM peers. In all areas this is better than the previous year with the gap closing by 0.1 in reading, and FSM being higher in writing and maths (when they were lower in 2014 / 2014).

The closing of these gaps shows that the school is using the funding effectively. We continue to strive to close the gap further by continuing to offer smaller class sizes through additional adults as it has proven to have a positive impact on attainment of all groups of children.
